Master Detectives

Everything was most intense when I was 15. Nothing has felt the same ever since. Somehow it’s all paler, especially right here. You can’t fall back anymore without first checking that there’s someone to catch you, nor dwell in some wonderful idea for 4 hours without being interrupted by other thoughts, nor jump off a balcony, because the difference between the greatest joy and the greatest sorrow is too large – which, on the other hand, may be a blessing. For a long time I have felt the urge to scream, but something else always comes along.
