Flowers - Arrangements

Flowers – Arrangements is both melancholic and humoristic. It comments on its own art form: dance in botanical sense. Movements are flowers, waiting to be found. The piece also describes universal experiences such as being left out, standing on the outside and trying to find  your way in the world.

”A World you don’t want to leave.”
Jukka O. Miettinen , Helsingin Sanomat 3.8.02

”Flowers – Arrangements is a truly delightful acquaintance, because it shows artistic maturity and unique thought.”  Piia Ahonen, Finnish Dance Magazine 3/02

“Genious thought of plants producing movements is intriguing as a thought but even more so when dancers realize it.” Pirjo Raiskio, Aamulehti 26.9.02

“Johanna Storm provides sound design to enjoy and live, cycle and do your hair in.”
 Marit Strømmen Ballet Tanz 10.02
